Fox News Hosted Bernie Town Hall, Liberals and Conservatives Outraged

Fox News recently hosted Democratic socialist Senator Bernie Sanders and it got the attention of President Trump.

Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders appeared on a town hall special broadcast by Fox News. Sanders agreed to the event after the national party rejected Fox News’ bid to host a Democrat Presidential primary debate because Democrats claimed Fox News was “state TV” for the Trump administration.

With that in mind, some conservatives wondered if Fox News went too far in presenting a welcoming environment for Sanders to sway the decision makers at the DNC into letting Fox host one of the highly rated primary debates.

Politico hailed Sanders as a victor with the crowd wildly cheering his calls for government-run health care.

That led President Trump to question if Fox News packed the audience with “Bernie Bros” to prove to the Democrats they could be “fair” and are not the sinister conservative propaganda machine fake news CNN and left-wing outlets claim

“So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on @FoxNews. Not surprisingly, @BretBaier and the “audience” was so smiley and nice. Very strange, and now we have @donnabrazile?” Trump tweeted.

There is good reason for the president to be scratching his head. Sanders was met with plenty of applause during his visit, in an event that should have been primarily Republican.

Another mystery that Trump pointed out was how Fox decided to hire former CNN commentator and DNC Chair Donna Brazile to the network.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier shrugged off President Donald Trump‘s attack on the town hall event he held with Bernie Sanders on Monday night.

On Tuesday, Trump blasted his favorite network for giving an hour-long town hall to the Vermont senator and 2020 presidential candidate. He accused Baier of being “smiley and nice” during the event, which was co-hosted with fellow anchor Martha MacCallum.

Enter Baier, who seemed to be unfazed by Trump’s attack:  “Thanks for watching Mr. President – we’d love to have you on a town hall soon.”

“We cover all sides,” Baier added.

Actually, I have to agree with Bret. Fox does cover both sides though lately they have been getting more and more leftist since Murdoch’s sons have taken over, so far they aren’t the same mind meld as all the other stations that spout he same lines at the same time like they are all sending out one mindless talking point.

Both liberals and conservatives voiced their outrage at Fox for hosting socialist Berni Sanders. Conservatives thought, because Sanders is so far left, he should be on CNN or MSNBC. Liberals were outraged because they have been trying to destroy Fox’s prime time lineup of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham with boycotts of their sponsors. Now with Bernie’s appearance being so successful, more people will tune into Fox and other candidates will want their town Halls on Fox too – ruining Libs boycotts of the station.

They are right. It’s already started. Fox News announced on Wednesday that it will feature a town hall with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) next month.

After Sen. Bernie Sanders topped the current record for town hall viewership, more and more Democrats are lining up to appear on Fox News, despite claiming they would ban the network from Democratic primary debates.

2.55 million viewers tuned in to witness the socialist Democrat, which is the most attention any Democrat has been able to garner thus far.

It looks like Democrats are more than willing to eat their own words to get a slice of the limelight. Candidate Pete Buttigieg is allegedly already in talks with the network to schedule his own town hall.

The town hall will be moderated by “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier and The Story” anchor Martha MacCallum, both of whom moderated a town hall with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Monday.

The announcement regarding Klobuchar comes after The Hill reported on Tuesday that South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg is in talks to appear in a Fox News town hall, according to a Buttigieg campaign spokesperson.

The spokesperson, speaking a day after Sanders appeared on the Fox town hall, told The Hill that “reaching out to the Fox audience is something we intend to do.”

Now the libs boycott action will fail and FOX who is already No.1 in the ratings will get more fans and be even stronger.

Now that their two-year Russia Collusion Hoax has been exposed, CNN and MSNBC are hemorrhaging a massive number of viewers.

Compared to this same week last year, the far-left CNN has lost a jaw-dropping 47 percent of its primetime audience and 41 percent of its total day viewers

MSNBC did not fare all that much better. During primetime, the left-wing outlet lost 28 percent of its viewers. Throughout the total day, MSNBC was down 20 percent.

For those who believe this ratings drop has nothing to do with MSNBC and CNN being exposed after two years of deliberately pushing a hoax about President Trump colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election, I give you Fox News… Fox lost only lost eight percent of its primetime viewers and 12 percent of total day viewers.

As far as news weeks go, last week might have been a little less exciting than this same week last year, but MSNBC, and most especially CNN, are shredding massive numbers of viewers for one primary reason… Both outlets spent two years lying to their audience, promising them Trump’s impeachment and arrest was coming up right after the next commercial break.

During the total day, Fox News was again number one with 1.346 million viewers. MSNBC again came in a distant second with just 899,000 viewers. CNN stumbled into ninth place with just 510,000 average viewers.

Fox News has always had a bigger audience than MSNBC and CNN, but has been able to hold on to almost all of it in the post-Mueller Report world because Fox didn’t spend two years conning its audience into believing Trump was a Russian spy facing inevitable impeachment.

Yes that’s two years of wasted energy these stations devoted their precious time to. That’s two years of their life they will never get back again.
