Democrats Introduce Bill Giving Coronavirus Relief To Illegal Aliens
Several House Democrats introduced legislation that, if signed into law, would allow illegal aliens to obtain funds from the recently-passed coronavirus relief package.
California Rep. Lou Correa, along with two other Democratic lawmakers, introduced the Leave No Taxpayer Behind Act on Friday. The legislation would amend the CARES Act — the $2 trillion stimulus package intended to help Americans suffering under the coronavirus pandemic, and allow individuals living in the U.S. unlawfully to apply for funds.
“I was appalled to learn hardworking, taxpaying immigrants were left out of the $2 trillion CARES Act,” Correa said in a statement released Friday.
“By casting out immigrants, we are placing some of our most vulnerable residents in grave danger. Every individual taxpayer, irrespective of citizenship status, needs government assistance now,” he continued.
President Donald Trump signed the coronavirus bailout package on March 17. The $2.2 trillion stimulus bill will provide a $1,200 payment to all single Americans who earn less than $75,000 annually, or $2,400 for families that earn under $150,000 — including $500 for each child under 17.
However, these funds do not provide assistance to individuals who don’t have Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers, which would include foreign nationals living and working in the U.S. unlawfully.
Supporters of the Leave No Taxpayer Behind Act likened this stipulation to discrimination.
“This virus does not care about immigration status. It does not discriminate and neither should we. Immigrants own businesses and homes, support families, and pay rent, and contribute to their communities,” said California Democratic Rep. Judy Chu, who has also called for a freeze on deportations amid the pandemic.
“Making it impossible for them to receive the same benefit we are sending to everyone else just means those immigrants will have a harder time affording food or rent, and that leaves us all worse off. I hope to see this corrected in the next relief package,” Chu continued.

They sure as hell wouldn’t be doing that if they didn’t believe illegals would be voting proving yet again that ALL democrats are SCUM!
They need to return to their own countries and let their own governments help them.
If they do manage to pass the illegal payment plan.
I am willing to bet Trump will figures out a way that mandates they must register In Person at their local a ICE office to get a Picture ID, fingerprint scan and provide a list of employers. Then require them to collect it in person with the US ICE issued ID at the US Embassy back in their Home Country within 14 days. Then fine the Employers to recover the $$$$$.
The keyword here is unlawfully. I don’t believe for a minute that any illegal immigrant pays taxes. Go back to your home country and petition them for help.
These Democrats “NO COMPRENDE AMERICA FIRST”……they can’t see past their own bank accounts.
As for paying taxes….Many do…they’ve built big beautiful homes while existing on OUR Social Services and money earned from the cartels so there is a property tax though far short of what they ‘take’ from OUR government in free and augmented income (food stamps, medical school etc)
Just ‘entering the country’ is a misdemeanor, however, FALSELY CLAIMING TO BE A CITIZEN ON ANY FEDERAL DOCUMENT, social security, applications for food stamps & like is a FELONY and punishable by prison and/or a fine, plus deportation.
Where is the ACLU ?? Americans are the ‘victims’ being discriminated against….
Find comfort in that President Trump doe put America First and wouldn’t sign a bill that includes this.
He left “pork” in Phase 1 of the relief only because he knew millions of us would need immediate help.

Americans need to know this will set a presidence. I am not against helping people in need so if we are going to give them money, it should be under the premise they take the money and go home to their own country.
