The religious right, gun owners, libertarians and fiscal conservatives of all types are being demonized. Not crushed outright, but marginalized to the point that they might just check out in 2012.

The liberal main-stream media is either purposefully or naively assisting the progressive agenda.  One-by-one, character blemishing is being used not to destroy Conservative candidates, but to simply tarnish them just enough to affect the election.  How do they do it?  How can you counter it?
