Ancient Greek culture celebrated and had an obsessive yearning for its Golden Age, a mythical time in the Greeks’ faint and distant past when men lived with the gods and enjoyed a platonic perfect society untested by the follies of mortality and were ruled by the deity Astraea, a daughter of Zeus. Astraea lived among men through the Golden Age and on into the Silver Age of the Greeks. But upon the commencement of the Bronze Age Astraea fled to the stars, repulsed at the newfound violence and greediness of men. Astraea found refuge in the Cosmos where she appears to this day as the constellation Virgo, holding the scales of Justice, or Libra. According to Greek legend, Astraea will one day return to the earth to usher in the return of the Greeks’ utopian Golden Age.

Shelley composed the aforementioned poem in 1821 in anticipation of the dissolution of the world’s empires and the advent of a new global religion, which he envisioned to be superior to even Christianity. He was only off by 187 years. In 2008 Shelley was belatedly recognized as a co-author of the novel Frankenstein. Speaking of Frankenstein, it was also the year a punk-ass thuggish community organizer by the name of Barack Hussein Obama was elected President of the United States.
Shelley’s new and improved religion? Black Liberation Theology. And the purveyors of this religion? Communists.
Wright is a master of deception and misdirection. He began his new business…uh, religion, by giving it a name – Trinity United Church of Christ. Of course he wasn’t actually a Christian – proof positive with his later infamous words “God Damn America!” (If you doubt that Trinity United Church of Christ is a business then you need to take a look at Wright’s retirement house – that the cough-cough “church” gave him a couple of years back.) The word “Christ” in the name of his business…uh, religion, simply provided political cover with which to deceive the good people of Chicago – his potential customers…uh, congregants. Wright found Obama to be an eager and willing suck-up for his doctrine of communism sprinkled with the blues. Of course, in later years it become obvious that Obama sucked up the business plan…uh, doctrine but that he conveniently publicly forgot everything Wright spewed from the drive-in window…uh, pulpit. Things like:
Shazam! Shazam! Shazam! Obama never heard any of it. Evidently he was asleep over on Aisle 1918 L (for Lenin)…uh, pew number 6. But Obama, while denying knowing anything, “Golly, Wally, why don’t Mom and Dad believe me? I promise I didn’t know the guy was a commie. He seemed like a decent Uncle Joe to me. Honest!” (At which point Wally figured the Beav was Stalin….uh, stalling) – did at least provide a measuring stick by which to gauge his character. Obama declared during the 2008 Presidential campaign for the American people to “Judge me by the people whom I surround myself.” Fortunately for Obama, the United States of America is nothing but an overgrown Burger King and he gets to have it his way. As in his choice for Green Jobs Czar (which is nothing but another way of saying commissar) Van Jones, who is a self-declared member of the Quality Assurance Committee, uh…Politburo. Well, not really, but at least he freely confesses he is a dyed in the wool, true blue (or, in his case, red) communist. How did that hope and change work out for ya’, Van?
Or, how about Obama’s FCC “Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Czar?” The poor fellow, a chap named Mark Lloyd, yup only two “l’s”, publicly supports that beloved communist Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Lloyd does indeed intend to get the “l” out of liberty for conservative broadcasters. Taking lessons from Obama’s takeover of GM by its unions, Lloyd plans to put the kibosh on conservative talk radio, forcing ownership to change hands and giving ownership to minorities (translation: communists). He also plans to implement a fee structure for broadcast station licensing that is intended to put most private broadcasters out of business – translation: PBS and NBR would then become the de facto suppliers of content on the radio. This seems strange coming from a patriot who once served time at the Center for American Progress, NBC, and CNN – three paragons of Constitutional freedom /sarc.
And let us not forget Michelle, who has finally become proud of the United States of America. How convenient it was for her that her pride arrived about the same time she did at the lobster bar in the White House Kitchen. In between butter-drenched bites Michelle was overheard to say “I don’t think there is a person of color in this country that doesn’t struggle with what it means to be a part of your race versus what the majority thinks is right.” Translation: Michelle doesn’t self-identify as being a member of the American majority (another translation: conservatives) and consequently is not comfortable with being an American. Lawrence Auster pointed out that “Whatever Obama’s personal racial attitudes may be, to install him, his wife, and his associates at the top of our national life are to install the black hostility/ambivalence toward America at the top of our national life.” It should be noted that conservatives are not against blacks. Conservatives are against communism, including Black Liberation Theology. To conservatives, minorities in America have been targeted by the communists. Talk about a victimhood scenario. Communists victimize America’s minorities and as part of their indoctrination teach them that they have been victimized. Talk about self-fulfilling prophesy! Of course, they fail to point out that they, themselves, are the victimizers. And Michelle is right they are sucking up the victimhood meme of Black Liberation Theology; while she plans her next overseas vacation at taxpayers’ expense.
Obama, much like Frankenstein, prefers to hide his communist proclivities in the basement. He hides behind labels intended to deceive the American people – a tactic well-taught to him by the Rev. Wright’s name of his business…uh, church. The blogger Confederate Yankee has this to say about Obama’s real communist identity:
In his books, Obama admits attending “socialist conferences” and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a “hard-core academic Marxist,” which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

However, actions speak louder than words. Obama is in the process of nationalizing healthcare – which fortuitously for Obama doesn’t fully kick in until after the 2012 Presidential election. Obama is working to nationalize the automotive industry. He succeeded with GM and Chrysler; only Ford is holding out. Obama seeks to nationalize the broadcasting industry and take away freedom of speech in the process. Obama seeks to destroy private employment – making everyone wards of the state. Obama is purposely attempting to bring down the financial system and the U.S. dollar along with it by burying the country in a mountain of bad debt. Obama basically seeks to control every aspect of every citizen’s life in every state of the country. Now, you’ve just got to ask yourself, “what political philosophy espouses those kinds of actions?” Hmmmm? Think about it, you probably won’t need a second guess.
Above all, Obama is a hypocrite. The communist motto is “communism for thee but not for me.” Nice work if you can get it. Obama is just as dedicated to keeping his own money as he is to taking yours. Communism is for the hoi-poi, not the elite. As for Obama, it is apparent that he is a leftist who would be hanging out with Sheehan and Code Pink in Berkeley except for some Democratic bigwigs who heard one of his speeches. Obama is exactly the same as the communist morons you see marching in the streets with paper-mache puppets on their collectivist heads – except for the fact that Obama came prepackaged in a container the MSM thought they could guilt America into voting in to office. And they were right.
So don’t be confused and distracted by the Rev. Wright’s name on his business…uh, church. And don’t get thrown off course by the “liberal” moniker. Resist the urge to define “progressive” the way you might be tempted to interpret it. The “progressives” intend to “progress” you right back to the Bolshevik Revolution. Don’t get off-track with touchy-feely feelings of wholesome goodness when you hear the term “Environmentalist.” This isn’t Keebler’s and they aren’t cookies. It isn’t your environment they’re concerned about. It’s theirs. Don’t even get tossed about by every wind of doctrine when you hear the word “socialist.” Trust me on this, they aren’t very sociable. There’s only one word you need to identify the members of Obama’s fraternity of like-minded minions and that is communist. It doesn’t matter if it is an uppercase “C” or a lowercase “c”. Makes no difference. The mindset is the same. Obama is a communist. Make no mistake about it. He’ll deny it till the cows comes home. He will attempt to throw you off by zapping a terrorist living in a million dollar hut in Pakistan – never mind the quick burial at sea to pacify his anti-American tyrant buddies of middle eastern descent. He will roll Easter Eggs – sorry, holiday orbs – for the kiddies each spring. But he is still a communist – of the Black Liberation Theology branch of the family.
So, according to Obama, the second Golden Age of the Greeks returned to earth with his election in 2008. He fully believes he is the Droid we were looking for. The only difference this time is that the ancient Greeks didn’t leave us any poetry for the age of Obama. Instead we are left with this. Learn the lesson well – you only have one chance to get it right.
