The Occupy movement has one-upped its absurdity by attempting to build a house in a public square.
Metro police are disassembling a wooden structure that the Occupy protesters built off-site and brought to the park. The wooden frame consists of a roof and some wall framing that look to be a house in the initial build phases.
Police on horseback kept the protesters back while they tried to have it taken down, but squatters on the roof of the structure had prevented its removal until about 8pm with the last one was removed by police.
The building was reportedly built by a father-son architect team from Annapolis, MD. CDN is working to get the name of the company that built the structure.
