The right is eating its own. Libertarians are all ticked-off that Ron Paul is irrelevant or that we won’t have a brokered convention where Paul might stand a chance. Santorum supporters are still holding out that something will bring his campaign back from suspension and Newt fans are still pushing hard for the former speaker even though his campaign is way beyond broke.

All of these groups seem to have forgotten who the real target is: President Barack Obama.

Some are complaining that the right is spending an evening cracking jokes about Obama having eaten dog meat while others are poking fun at Romney’s slap at the media – for what purpose?

If Obama gets re-elected it may well be the fault of the splinter-groups: Libertarians, Santorum hold-outs, Gingrich followers, etc. Spending their time arguing over idiocy while failing to vet the Democrat incumbent candidate for president is all the liberals could hope for – the right fighting itself.

Judgmental, arrogant, self-serving, know-it-alls – we’re seeing all of them come out of the woodwork and instead of doing something positive, they are spending their efforts beating-down friendlies. The blue-on-blue crap must stop!

We have a common enemy. It is unnecessary to find small faults with a fellow Conservative when going after a do-nothing Senate is more effective.

Is finding a small error in someone’s blog post more important than reporting on the Senate’s inability to pass a budget for three years or Obama’s failed energy policy? How small are we?

The target is clear. Aim left. Stay focused and realize who are your friends and who is your enemy. I agree with Michelle Malkin on this one. There are battles worth fighting and there are the silly fights being waged by those with their eyes off the target.

The twitter dog meat thing was funny as hell and didn’t harm the cause. Those deciding otherwise have yet to understand the damage they’ve done or maybe, they just don’t know who the real enemy is.
