And They’re Off and Running

Team Romney is off to a rousing start like a steam roller going full speed and the media and team Obama is shaking in their boots and it shows.

In High Point, North Carolina,10,000 people showed up to greet Romney and Ryan while Biden only drew a crowd of 600. Another 10,000 showed up in Florida, So many showed up there that the handlers couldn’t keep track of the people they had to turn away. Let’s hope they can keep up the momentum. In Chicago Obama, had another fund raiser (what else does he do?) and they only charged $51 and he couldn’t fill the place. You know the dems are getting desperate when they invite Jimmy Carter to their convention to speak via video.

Meanwhile Obama still clinging to his rigid leftist ideology making the rounds saying he stands for “a new America where prosperity is shared.” In other words he’s still for sharing the wealth and spreading it around. He was speaking in Iowa to farmers stricken by the drought conditions there and said republicans were being obstructionists in standing in the way of blocking a farm bill that would help the farmers. I saw part of his speech and he was stuttering and stammering without his teleprompter saying foolish things like, “ We’re going to buy food from you farmers ,and uh, uh, freeze it, and uh, we have a lot of freezers and save it to distribute to people who need it.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and people actually buy into this claptrap. Paul Ryan was also in Iowa to counter act Obama and said they were “promising equal opportunity not equal outcomes” which is how it should be.

Romney and Ryan are two good looking dudes with brains and brawn to match. Romney is a longtime businessman who started companies like Staples and Sports Authority and knows how to meet a budget, (something he could show Obama about since he hasn’t released one in three years now) he knows how to maintain a payroll and manage people and business . Obama has never worked a real job in his life and was a community organizer, a liberal lawyer for a short time and a senator for only 100 days where he just voted “present.” Ryan is a great looking guy with boyish looks and faithful to his family and job. Ryan has been known to sleep in his office during the week and come home to his family on week-ends and not rent some fancy D.C. apartment at the taxpayers’ expense like so many politicians. He’s bright, articulate and can relate to the average citizen.

In my previous blog I mentioned that Romney and Ryan have to take the gloves off and show strong arm initiative and that’s just what they are doing. This is the most important election ever. It’s not just republican vs. democrat anymore but freedom vs. Government control of your life in other words freedom vs. socialism. As of now the polls are too close to consider and with the House now suing Holder over the fast and furious gun running scandal that couldn’t come at a more inopportune time for Obama. It’s going to be a close, heated election . As Rush Limbaugh so aptly recently stated, “if we were a politically informed population Obama wouldn’t stand a chance, but we’re not. We’re an emotionally charged population and therein lies the problem.” Let’s hope Romney and Ryan can overcome that. So far it’s looking great guys. 😉
