The First Man On the Moon, Neil Armstrong, Has Passed Away

Reports on Saturday afternoon report that the 82 year old, former astronaut has passed away.

As commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969

Armstrong underwent a heart-bypass surgery earlier this month to relieve blocked coronary arteries.

Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the surface of the moon.

Rest in Peace Neil, and may God be with you.
