Obama Refuses To Answer Direct Questions On “Requests For Help” In Benghazi

Obama seemed a little indignant, to something his staff shields him from—a News reporter asking the hard questions.  In a Denver 9News Report, Obama was asked direct questions about the “stand down” orders and why requests for help were denied during the ongoing attacks in Benghazi.  Obama, talking “around” the direct questions responded:

“Well, we are finding out exactly what happened. I can tell you, as I’ve said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened so that it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice. And I guarantee you that everyone in the state department, our military, the CIA, you name it, had number one priority making sure that people were safe. These were our folks and we’re going to find out exactly what happened, but what we’re also going to do it make sure that we are identifying those who carried out these terrible attacks.”

Obama was asked twice, “were they denied requests for help during the attack?” Each time he gave his now standard “talking points script” on all things Benghazi, “I’m making sure we are securing all our personnel, we are investigating, we will find out who did this and bring them to justice.”  No doubt Team Obama is betting on the clock running out to Election day, hoping against hope that the breaking news which has been coming out of the Benghazi massacre will slow down, and that no more damning details will come to light.

Its worth noting, in keeping his “story” straight, that Obama said on”The Michael Smerconish Show” Friday :

“I was not personally aware of any request, adding that there is an “infrastructure” in place to “manage requests.”

FOX news has reported that in a recently released cable from Ambassador Stevens on the day of the attack stated a “growing problems with security” in Benghazi.”  And the CIA, is throwing the blame game ball out of their court.  ABC’s Jake Tapper, who has been following this story from day one, tweeted

CIA spox: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ” –@jaketapper Oct. 26, 2012

We know from the Congressional hearings of October 9th, that a low level Officer at the State Department, Susan Lamb, testified that she received requests for added security prior to the attacks, and that they were denied.  Remember, that Hillary Clinton has stated she personally was requesting this added security—but it was denied—so this points directly to the White House.  All roads in this tangled web seem to lead to one place—whether its the requests for added security prior to the attacks, or, if its the requests for help during the attack, all roads point directly to the White House.   Will we learn the whole truth on Benghazi prior to Election day?  If Obama and his regime get their way, I’d say No.

Stay tuned, we will continue to bring you up to date information on this story.
