Cuomo: Confiscation of Weapons an OPTION

Courtesy Wikimedia

In an interview with radio station WGDJ Governor Andrew Cuomo stated today that he has started new negotiations with the legislature regarding gun controls.

According to the New York Times: In the interview, Mr. Cuomo did not offer specifics about the measures he might propose, but, while discussing assault weapons, he said: “Confiscation could be an option. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option — keep your gun but permit it.”

The idea that the government could come into a home and confiscate the owner’s gun is very frightening. Isn’t this what the Second Amendment was all about?
