Celebrating The New America

It seems that we have come to that often-mentioned folk in the road as a country. As a matter of fact, I believe we have passed that point and are already traveling down the wrong path, but that is the new America. We have a government and a media run by Liberal-Progressives, they have joined forces to drive us away from traditional America and when we have media and government joining forces, that can only mean disaster for our country.

Our Founding Fathers gave us freedom of the press so that the press can protect the people from an over barring government, but we now have a press that protects the government instead of the people, so we are saddled with a runaway big Federal Government. It’s not only government and media, but our universities have also joined in the war against traditional America and are indoctrinating our kids into the New America platform.

Here are some of the things that the New America celebrates:

• Abortion
• Drug Use
• Homosexuality
• Un-Wed Motherhood
• Prostitution, now called Sex Workers
• Porno Stars
• Same Sex marriage
• Nanny State/Big Government/Socialism
• Atheism
• Islam/Muslims
• Censorship
• Political Correctness

There is no doubt, the farther we move away from traditional values, the weaker our society becomes, we now live in an upside-down world, where everything that was wrong is now right, and what was right is now wrong. Why do Americans celebrate the things that will bring America down? Each one of those items on my list is just a nail in the coffin of our society, one by itself will not bring America down, but put them all together and it spells disaster if we continue down that road.

We have a president who believes America should make nice-nice with our enemies; instead of showing strength, he shows weakness. He believes the only way the poor can be helped, is not by helping them move up the ladder, but by pushing the rich down, he believes the only way to make it fair for one group, is to be unfair to another. We now live in a country where failure is rewarded and success is punished, how long can a country survive following this path?

We have a president who has done nothing but lie to the American people since he was on the campaign trail in 2008. He promised the most transparent administration in history, yet the New York Times and Washington Post say his is the least transparent. He said bypassing congress was unconstitutional; yet he has done it many times. “We’ve got shovel-ready projects all across the country.” Later, Obama admitted his own lie, saying, “There’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects.” How can we not mention all the lies he told the American people about Obama-Care, the list goes on and on.

We have a president and an attorney general who pick and choose what laws they want to defend, yet when they were sworn in they said they would defend all laws. I guess this is all part of the new America, and the people seem to be all right with a president who lies and deceives them. The values and morality of this country are sinking, we have a president who would not know the truth if he sat on it, people are afraid to speak-up for fear of condemnation. This is all part of the new America, well we had a good run, after all it lasted for 238 years, which proves the old saying “Nothing lasts forever.”

When asked if they thought that China will surpass the American way of life in our lifetime, 56.4% of Americans said, “Yes.”
