Atheists Now Run Our Country

There is no doubt that our country has changed, not for the better I might add. Our society is collapsing, at least in my view anyway. I have always said that societies slow decline started in the mid 1960’s, when the government started with its social engineering policies. Now it seems we have atheists telling us what we can and cannot do.

We are all familiar with the war on Christmas, how atheists want to ban it from the public square, even though it is a Federal Holiday. Atheists seem to think it is there duty to fly around the country and ban Nativity scenes, Jesus, or any mention of Christmas. It seems to me that we show pictures of Lincoln on Lincoln’s birthday, Washington’s picture on Washington’s Birthday, so why can’t we show pictures of Jesus when we celebrate his birthday?

Now we have an atheist group coming down on football coaches at Chestatee High School in Gainesville Georgia, because they are accused of quoting scripture. How dare this high school insight such hateful messages, such as Galations 6:9, which reads: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up,” and a banner used for a pregame ceremony alluded to Proverbs 27:17, which reads: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” This is terrible, teaching our kids things like that.

“There’s really no defense for doing this,” the groups attorney Monica Miller said. “It’s not even solely student prayer — it’s teachers and coaches praying with students. And we have reason to believe it’s not an isolated event.” No defense for it? How about it is what they want to do, how is that for a defense? As always in cases like this, there is only one person who complained, they are always anonymous, and they are never associated with the high school or the team, they are just troublemakers with nothing better to do with their lives.

Also in North Carolina, Mary’s Gourmet Diner has been quietly offering a 15 percent “praying in public” discount for four years and said that it was given to people from all religions. But the pro-atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation, in a public letter, claimed that the restaurant was favoring belief over non-belief. What’s it their business how Mary runs her diner, she could offer discounts to anyone she wants. I don’t understand, they have discounts for seniors, they have discounts for children, some places offer discounts for people who come in dressed in a certain way, how about ladies night with discounts for ladies. Once again, these people need to get a life and let Mary run her diner the way she wants.

Again, this asinine group is now telling the Navy what to do. It seems that the Navy has been putting Bibles in lodgings setup for servicemen, this shocking discovery was brought to their attention by two FFRF member servicemen who noted that “nearly every Navy lodging room” they’d stayed in over the course of their careers contained a Bible. What a horrific thing to do, I could just imagine the nightmares and torture these men had to endure. I am sorry, but these men are two assholes, no one put a gun to their heads and made them open the drawer and read the Bible. Again, people with nothing better to do in their lives but cause trouble. Thank God the Navy reversed their decision, but they never should have buckled in the first place.

The list goes on and on and on, there is something these bone headed atheist groups do not understand, the Constitution does not provide freedom from Religion, it provides freedom of Religion, there is a big difference between “from” and “of” I suggest that these groups learn the difference, but I am afraid they never will. If I choose to pray, no one is forcing you to pray, but that won’t stop them, their only purpose is to cause trouble and they will not be happy until they erase God from our society and if we don’t fight back, they will win.
