Megan Silberberger, a first year Social Studies teacher, reportedly confronted the shooter while he was reloading. During that confrontation the shooter was killed.
Police are currently calling the ending shot a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but it is not yet clear whether the shooter intentionally shot himself or was shot during a struggle with the teacher.
