Reports say that word began spreading to demonstrators on Facebook to show up at 6 p.m. near 35th and Michigan Avenues for what they’re calling “emergency action in solidarity with Baltimore.”
Another report says:
A crowd several hundred people protesting police brutality marched around Chicago’s South Side Tuesday night, a show of strength and solidarity with protesters in Baltimore.
The crowd was only about 100 when it began Tuesday afternoon, but it swelled as it streamed from police headquarters at 35th Street and Michigan Avenue into Hyde Park.
We’ll have more links and video feeds as they come on line. #baltimoreriots
