Twitter Hashtags Conservatives Use

Twitter is a different way of consuming and disseminating information. As a company that uses Twitter prolifically, we often get asked – how do I find Conservative content on Twitter?

Hashtags are your first, best way to locate Conservative content. Hashtags are keywords/terms that are preceded by a pound sign (#.) The most used by Conservatives are:

  • #tcot (Top Conservatives on Twitter)
  • #tlot (Top Libertarians on Twitter)
  • #gop (The Republican Party on Twitter)

If you are a supporter of gun rights and the second amendment, you might also search out:

  • #nra (National Rifle Association)
  • #2A (Second Amendment)

If you find other Conservative hashtags you’d like us to add to the list, post them in comments, DM @CDNNow, or email editor@conservativedailynews.com.

Once those hashtags show you something you’re interested in, just follow the people that tweeted the messages and favorite the ones that repeatedly show you things that matter to you.
