A Reuters/IPSOS poll released today confirmed that GOP candidate Carly Fiorina gained the most while billionaire Donald Trump held on to his lead.
As with earlier polls, this newest reading shows Trump unable to best Hillary Clinton in a head-to-head match-up. Those who responded to the poll said that Clinton would top Donald 43% to 29%.
Trump did extend his lead of the GOP pack by a point with 24% of respondents favoring him. 24% of Republican respondents also had a negative view of the reality T.V. star. Independents and Democrats were far more negative than positive on Mr. Trump.
Carly Fiorina gained the most after the debate. The increased name recognition from her solid debate performance saw Ms. Fiorina jump from virtual obscurity to middle-tier.
