Paul, Fiorina cut from Thursday’s GOP debate main event

Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina didn’t make the cut for the 6th GOP debate main stage.

Stricter polling criteria down-selected the main debate attendees to seven candidates: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and John Kasich.

Four candidates will be invited to the ‘undercard’ pre-debate debate: Fiorina, Paul, Huckabee and Santorum, but Sen. Paul has already announced that ‘Fox has made a mistake’ and that he will not be attending.

Sen. Paul told Politico that his campaign “will not participate in anything that’s not first-tier.”
