Republicans Always Get Nailed, Democrats Always Get A Pass

The latest belly-aching from the liberal press involves questions about the locations where Donald Trump intends to house illegal/criminal aliens caught in a deportation round-up that Trump may initiate. I don’t recall them worrying about the whereabouts and the conditions of the tens of thousands of illegals who have entered our country the last several years. Nor has the press been especially concerned about where the hordes of illegals have been finally settled since Obama opened our borders to all comers.

I would suggest that Donald Trump tell the press that he would detain the criminals he intends to deport in the same places that Obama kept children when he enticed them to enter the United States during his administration. That should shut the liberal press up on the subject, but we know it wouldn’t halt their anti-Republican complaints one minute.

Recalling last summer and the vast number of people who entered America illegally, a particular aspect of the “unaccompanied” children coming from Mexico and Central America was that our liberal press showed no concern to identify the organizers of this passage, which was largely made up of children, who faced murder and repeated rape as they traversed the length of Mexico, supposedly all alone in many cases. There is no way a child could navigate the length of the very dangerous Mexico without adult supervision, so one must assume that someone planned and executed this dangerous exposure of thousands of children. But liberals are not interested in defending children from rape when they know that it was the Obama administration who first of all opened the border, then it was the Obama administration who advertised for transportation and housing for this anticipated influx of travelers, and it was the Obama administration who advertised and organized, in the travelers’ home countries in Central America and Mexico, the expeditions of boys and girls, knowing all along the dangers these young people would face along the way. The press has no interest in seeking out, identifying and punishing such violent criminals when the trail would end up at the Obama White House. But find one child in America who is not getting sufficient welfare support and the blame is immediately place on the evil George Bush, and by implication, on Donald Trump, with no thought that Obama has been president for eight years, during which time everything in America has gotten worse.

And when the children who did survive last year’s journey across Mexico got here, liberals began the usual jargon of having to identify the parents so we could bring the parents to the United States in order to re-unite the family again, not mentioning the obvious and common sense option of sending the children back to their country of origin and reuniting the families there. In fact if the parents could be identified they should have been put in jail for endangering the lives and health of their children for sending them to the U.S. unaccompanied.

But all of that is common sense and such a thing as common sense and reason never enter a conversation with liberals.
