One Thing In Particular Is Making Hillary Furious

The Clintons, like most long-time politicians, are used to playing hard ball politics, and part of the rules of the political game is to find a “gotcha” to be used against your opponent, at which time he will gracefully back down and concede defeat. It’s safer to play “gotcha” against your opponent than to tell everyone what you stand for and why they should vote for you, because that leaves a trail of promises, and politicians are liars who hate such evidence of their dishonesty.

In 1990 the Clintons were a shiny pair of young liberals obviously destined for the top, and the liberal press decided that they would award them the Camelot slot that the Kennedy family formerly occupied, and they began taking the Clinton side in nearly every issue. The only exception was 2008 when the press sided with Barack Obama, who had, in addition to being a good liberal, the benefit of politicking while black, and race beats gender in the opinion of the liberal American press.

But Donald Trump has held on against the left’s withering attacks, and has in fact gained on Hillary during the last year while the revelations of crimes and corruption against Hillary are now sticking to her. It may not be PC to say so, but Hillary has lost some of her old luster with age, and she may have tried her luck and her lying just once too often with this presidential run.

Hillary has simply tried to play the game too long and has lost the physical ability to fight like she used to. And when you add to the mix the fact that Americans are tired of the old establishment game that is all she knows how to play, it appears she has cruised into a rocky beach and the rocks are taking her to the bottom.

But the most galling thing eating at Hillary is that she’s put in her time, and expectations have built to such an heady extent, that to not be winning by a large margin at this point in the election is tying her in knots; and her opponent is not even a politician, doesn’t know the rules of the political game and refuses to play by them.

Hillary is being defeated at her own filthy game of politics by a beginner, and that has to be eating at her and destroying even her best day.
