Anyone who is appointed to Donald Trump’s administration will be banned from becoming a paid lobbyist for five years after leaving the White House, his transition office announced Wednesday night.
Wednesday had seen Trump assaulted by the media claiming that his cabinet was “in disarray” and putting the government “in limbo” while simultaneously being outraged that he didn’t invite them to a steak dinner. While the small minds of the liberal media focused on his dinner plans and the fact that he hadn’t placed his entire cabinet in a week, Trump focused on draining the swamp.
By displacing lobbyists, the incoming administration won’t fall prey to corruption as did the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid. The president-elect will be free to pick the best leaders for the open cabinet positions without undue external influence.
Donald Trump isn’t simply asking his incoming cabinet to promise, he’s making them sign a contract.
In a press conference, Trump aid Sean Spicer announced that “All appointees will be required to sign a form agreeing to abide by the ban before starting work.”
While paid anti-Trump protesters and professional agitators are assaulting people, burning things and causing the deaths of others, Americans are realizing that not all candidates lie – not every president is out for himself – there is hope for the White House after all.
