President-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate former WWE CEO Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration.
Trump said he chose the 68-year-old founder and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment because of her business acumen as she built a massive entertainment empire from the ground up.
Created through the Small Business Act of 1958, the SBA gives out loans, guarantees loans, offers counselling session and other services in order to help small businesses succeed.
Linda McMahon flirted with politics when she ran to represent Connecticut as a Republican U.S. Senator in 2010 and again in 2012. In 2010 she lost to Richard Blumenthal (Dem) and suffered the same result when Chris Murphy (Dem) bested her in 2012.
