The Woodmont Country Club in Maryland is considering giving outgoing President Barack Obama a free membership to its exclusive and historical facilities.
“We’d be honored to have the president at the club as a member,” CEO and General Manager Brian Pizzimenti told the Jewish publication The Forward. “We’re glad to have offered [Obama] fun and relaxation.”
Founded by German Jews in 1913, the club is considering Obama’s membership, without cost to him, despite the fact that Israel has proof that the American President led the effort to craft the U.N. resolution to force Isreal to give East Jerusalem and other Jewish lands to the Palestinians.
Obama then commanded the U.S. delegation to the U.N. Security Council to abstain from the vote allowing it to pass without U.S. defense of America’s most stalwart and trusted ally in the Middle-East.
In an interview with the New York Post, a Washington official asked, “Can you imagine how angry I would be if I had paid $80K to have to look at this guy who has done more to damage Israel than any president in American history?”
While Obama delivered a farewell speech in Chicago, it may be an exclusive Jewish club in Maryland that bids him adieu closer to his new home in Washington, D.C.
