To All American Girls Wanting to Marry Radical Muslim Men…

I had the pleasure of watching Patriot’s Day recently, which is a movie describing the Boston Marathon Bombing of April 2013, alongside the subsequent manhunt for the perpetrators Tamerlan and Dzokhar Tsarnaev from Russia (then the Soviet Union) and Kyrgyzstan, respectively. I highly recommend watching it.

However, there was a critical scene in the movie that caused me to write this article in the first place: after Tamerlan was killed and while Dzokhar was on the run, the former’s wife was brought in for interrogation. Here’s what struck me: she (Katherine Russell) wasn’t some Middle Eastern woman who had traveled with her husband Tamerlan to the United States. No, she was actually an average American citizen from Rhode Island who had been radicalized by her husband while she was in college.

There’s also a second piece of evidence not mentioned in the movie that I’m sure many readers may remember; in the time before Dzokhar’s trial, there were many, many American women (young ones, I might add) saying to “free him”. But it’s not because they thought the younger of the two Tsarnaevs was innocent; they simply thought the terrorist seemed cute.

Yes, despite obvious evidence of radical Muslim men violating the basic rights of their wives, these moral-lacking American broads still decide “yeah, there’s nothing wrong with marrying a terrorist that helped kill three people and wound dozens of others”.

I wonder how Krystle Campbell, 29, and Lu Lingzi, 23, would respond to this; they were two of the three Marathon spectators that were killed in the blasts, alongside Martin Richard, who was only 8 years old.

So, to all American girls wanting to marry radical Muslim men…

…open your eyes.
