Dana Loesch took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland. She announced her new NRA role as Special Assistant to Wayne LaPierre’s Office of Public Communication, and described the NRA as the “original big tent.” It’s the one organization, she said, for people who want to have a fighting chance—all day, every day. Loesch applauded the “bitter clingers” and slammed the left for believing “it’s virtuous to be a victim and not virtuous to be an armed defender of your family.” She concluded by declaring that, “We had the right to bear arms before we had the right to vote, and I’ll be damned if you take that from me!”
