White House: Terror Attacks Underreported

Speaking at MacDill Air Force Base Monday afternoon, President Trump rattled off a list of attacks carried out by “radical Islamic terrorists” that he felt were not being adequately reported by the media.

The president’s list included Sept. 11 and the violence in Orlando, San Bernardino, and in France.

“It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported,” Trump told a group of senior commanders. “And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it.”

Later Monday Press Secretary Sean Spicer answered reporters wanting a list of attacks the President felt had been underreported, “We’ll provide a list later. There’s several instances … There’s a lot of instances that have occurred where I don’t think they’ve gotten the coverage it deserved.”

On whether there is evidence of jihadis “pouring in” the country, Spicer told reporters, “I’m not going to get into specific information that the president has.”

Spicer said that the President does not believe the attacks are being underreported to make him look bad.
