The breaking news story that former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice tracked and unmasked Trump team members deserves front page placement but not all news outlets agree.
We scanned the Tuesday morning versions of websites from numerous news agencies to show how important they view the story or if they’re more interested in sweeping it under the rug.
Only one news outlet has the Susan Rice story on the front page and the Washington Post goes so far as to promote the headlines “Blackwater founder held secret meeting to establish Trump-Putin back channel” and “The White House is a smoke machine when it comes to Russia” while nothing on Rice’s possible violation of Trump campaign team members’ civil liberties appears on their main page.
