President Trump will spend the eve of his 100th day in office promoting energy independence, speaking on gun ownership, fundraising and sitting for an interview.
On Friday, the President will move our country even further toward our goal of energy independence by signing several Executive Orders on energy. This builds on previous executive actions that have cleared the way for job-creating pipelines, innovations in energy production, and reduced unnecessary burden on energy producers.
The president will speak at the annual NRA leadership conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Donald Trump will be the first president to address the NRA forum since Ronald Reagan in 1983. The NRA endorsed the president during his campaign praising him for his undaunting defense of the second amendment.
President Trump will then attend a private fundraiser for Karen Handel who is in a runoff for Georgia’s 6th district House seat against Jon Ossoff. Handel took second in the April preliminary election preventing Ossoff from gaining enough of the vote to win in the first round.
The president will be interviewed by Martha MacCallum for the final episode of Fox News “100 Days.” Today marks the 99th day of Trump’s presidency.
