The Left Has Become So Deranged that Bernie Sanders is Now Defending Ann Coulter

The Resistance is becoming so extremely toxic that even some high profile leftists are beginning to turn against it.

None other than Bernie Sanders is unbelievably siding with conservative author and pundit Ann Coulter after violent Alt-Left thugs threatened her if she dared to show up to speak at Berkeley.

It was a tactic right out of Nazism 101 as the vicious savages of generation snowflake are going back to the future to crush free speech that they don’t agree with which is an affront to everything that this great country is supposed to stand for.

Coulter’s appearance at the California hippie haven had to be postponed due to security concerns. The extreme left aka Hillary Clinton dead-enders had previously run amok on campus, beating up bystanders and vandalizing property when they successfully shut down an event featuring the controversial Milo Yiannopoulos in February.

Senator Sanders just became the first major political figure on the left to denounce the increasingly dangerous methods of the anti-Trump insurgency.

In a surprising turn of events, every millennial’s favorite old man, Sen. Bernie Sanders, has come out in defense of Ann Coulter, denouncing threats that forced the University of California, Berkeley, to try to postpone her appearance at the college.

“I don’t like this. I don’t like it,” Sanders told The Huffington Post in response to the security threats that forced the university to put off the conservative firebrand’s event.

“Obviously Ann Coulter’s outrageous―to my mind, off the wall. But you know, people have a right to give their two cents-worth, give a speech, without fear of violence and intimidation,” he added.

The senator from Vermont also slammed protesters who said Coulter shouldn’t be given a platform to speak at the university, calling them “a sign of intellectual weakness.”

“If you can’t ask Ann Coulter in a polite way questions which expose the weakness of her arguments, if all you can do is boo, or shut her down, or prevent her from coming, what does that tell the world?” he said.

Smarmy liberal prick Bill Maher also took a shot at the anarchists on his HBO show Real Time With Bill Maher by calling the Berkeley hooligans out as “a bunch of f**king babies” which is a stinging rebuke from a hardened anti-Trumper and liberal philosopher king.

While Sanders’ comments are a good start in saying ENOUGH to what are likely George Soros backed pogroms, it merits pointing out that he is actually an independent and not a Dem.

To this day NOT ONE actual Democrat has condemned the hooligans and their Brownshirt tactics. This includes leading congressional figures Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein whose silence could be taken as complicity considering that the University of California at Berkeley is in their own backyard.

It’s only a matter of time before someone gets killed as a result of the climate of hatred that Clinton’s supporters have created and the Democrats will have blood on their hands once that occurs.

While there are serious disagreements with Sanders’ political ideology he should be saluted for breaking with the resentful lynch mobs that refuse to accept the results of a legitimate election and believe that violence and intimidation are the answer.
