Former V.P. Joe Biden’s Niece Dodges Jail Time Over Grand Larceny

As George Orwell famously put in his book Animal Farm, “all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others” which perfectly describes the American political elite.

Just take a look at former vice president Joe Biden’s niece who managed to avoid doing jail time for grand larceny over credit card theft. This would have landed anybody else without the right political connections in the iron bar hotel for a very long time.

Caroline Biden cut a plea deal with a Manhattan judge to repay $110,810.04 and do community service.

The wild-child niece of former Veep Joe Biden stole more than $100,000 in a credit card scam — and quietly cut a plea deal in Manhattan court that spares her any jail time, The Post has learned

Using a borrowed credit card, the blonde Caroline Biden set up an unauthorized customer account at Bigelow Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, and racked up the six-figure bill over the course of a year, according to a criminal complaint that does not name the victim card owner.

As part of a plea deal before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Kevin McGrath, Biden, 29, pleaded guilty to one charge of grand larceny and another of petit larceny and agreed to make restitution of $110,810.04.

If she pays everything back and keeps her nose clean, she can return to court and enter a substitute plea to a lower, misdemeanor charge of petit larceny and be sentenced to two years probation.

But she’ll stay out of jail even if she fails to live up to the plea deal, instead getting sentenced on the felony larceny to five years probation.

Defense lawyer Ira London declined to comment.

Ms. Biden has a history of behavioral issues including alcohol and drug abuse, a common thread for brats born with a silver spoon in their mouths.

It pays to be related to Joe with the donkey teeth. Just ask his son Hunter Biden who managed to land a high-paying gig on the board of Ukraine’s largest gas company back in 2014 mere weeks after his daddy visited Kiev.

Young Biden also got booted out of the U.S. Navy for being a cokehead and was one of the names on the list from the hacked Ashley Madison adultery matchmaking website.

The slap on the wrist over the very serious charges are an illustration that there are two separate systems of justice in this once great country. One for the elite and one for everyone else.
