Attorney General Jeff Sessions testifies before the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday afternoon.
Sessions is expected to be asked about his interactions with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and his involvement in the firing of James Comey.
The attorney general requested that the hearing be public so that the American people could hear his testimony for themselves.
Sessions’ hearing comes just days after controversial statements were made by fired FBI Director James Comey in a similar hearing last week.
