Company to Offer New York Women a Chance to Give $150 Vibrator a Free Test Drive

The same British company that last year sponsored a promotion for New York City men to relieve stress by offering them on-street masturbation booths has another product rollout planned for next weekend.

The GuyFi marketing project caused a minor furor on the internet resulting in good publicity for the sex toy company.

So much so that Hot Octopuss is welcoming lucky Big Apple women with the opportunity to give a free test drive to the company’s new product, a $150 dildo named “Queen Bee” and as an extra gift, the advice of a so-called “orgasm stylist”, you just can’t make stuff like this up.

A press release that went out on Thursday offering an “orgasm makeover” at an NYC masturbation pop-up called the Changing Room had editors buzzing about whether it was a dirty prank — but it’s real.

British brand Hot Octopuss, which previously set up booths around the city last year for men to “relieve stress,” is now focusing on women’s needs, giving them tips from “orgasm stylist” Diane Barone and letting them try out a fancy $150 vibrator called the Queen Bee in a private room.

“The room will even feature music, chosen by members of the Octopuss’ social network,” they say. The pop-up, which we’re told is open to the public, will be at 160 Orchard St. on Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This isn’t just your ordinary piece of rigid plastic or even a humming rubber phony phallus. The company touts its state of the art PulsePlate technology.

The company’s website describes the Queen Bee as:
