Good Grief: Al Gore Keeps Harping on How He Really WON the 2000 Election

Environmentally unfriendly gasbag Al Gore just won’t let it go. The former Vice President visited with HBO’s foul-mouthed liberal provocateur Bill Maher during the latest episode of the comic’s popular cable televsion show and continued to cry over the spilled milk of the 2000 election.

Mr. Gore spent his time with Maher by bemoaning President Trump’s pulling out of the globalist Paris Climate Accords and to promote his sequel to his alarmist global warming flick that given the test of time, proved that Gore is a charlatan who stands to make big money off of the climate change racket.

But he also continued to bemoan his loss to George W. Bush by a razor-slim margin in the Sunshine State.

The Hill reports “Gore: ‘I think I carried Florida’”:

Former vice president and Democratic presidential nominee Al Gore told HBO’s Bill Maher he thinks he carried the state of Florida in 2000, a state that would have given Gore the presidency over George W. Bush.

Gore, 69, visited Maher on HBO’s “Real Time” on Friday to discuss his follow-up climate change documentary “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” when the host broached the issue of rising sea levels.

“So when the sea levels rise, obviously we could lose Venice. We could lose Florida. And who would know better about losing Florida?” Maher joked, leading to some groans from the live studio audience in Los Angeles.

“Actually, I think I carried Florida,” a smiling Gore retorted. “But that’s another — we won’t go there.”

Maher agreed that Gore won the hotly-contested state and its 25 electoral votes at the time.

“That’s right, OK, there you go. I think you do did too.”

Gore leaves out one really inconvenient truth that had he managed to win his home state of Tennessee, whatever happened in Florida would have been irrelevant – much like Mr. Gore is to all but the liberal bottom-feeders like Maher.

Gore lost the 2000 election because he LOST his home state, not because of Florida, to suggest anything else is just another liberal lie.

The 11 electoral votes in the Volunteer State would have made the final total: Gore 278, Bush 260. Gore did, however, win the popular vote – now where have we heard THAT lately?
