Texans’ rookie QB Deshaun Watson will look to prove that his impressive showing in training camp can translate to success at game time, but it may have to wait. Veteran slinger Tom Watson is set to start and whether he has a strong outing could decide the QB slot for Houston.
The Panthers’ QB, Cam Newtown, has yet to throw a ball in training camp as he is healing from rotator cuff surgery in March. Derek Anderson is expected to start.
