Chelsea Manning Throws Bitch Fit After Harvard Fellowship Revoked

The left’s favorite former military figure, Bradley Chelsea Manning is none too happy after the honor of a visiting fellowship at Harvard University was yanked back less than two days after being extended.

It seems that the Ivy League elitist snob farm underestimated the backlash against an individual who is considered to be a traitor for his/her role in passing classified State Department cables to WikiLeaks, a huge scandal that ended up with Manning being prosecuted thrown into a military prison by the Obama regime. Manning was sprung early by Obama in what was clearly a sop to a certain identity politics demographic that the Democrats are able to exploit.

Reports state that Manning had an angry telephone conversation with the dean at Harvard and abruptly hung up the phone. Then the former Army soldier turned celebrated transvestite took to social media to vent over the indignity inflicted upon him by Harvard.

Manning’s Twitter timeline is actually rather amusing. He went from spiking the ball and gloating after former Obama CIA honcho Michael Morrell resigned his fellowship in protest of the university’s offer to the transgender traitor.

Morrell is a very creepy spook and it doesn’t speak well of HAH-vahd to have offered him a fellowship either but he is what amounts to a made man of the Deep State. He isn’t the only swine to hold such a position either.

That isn’t the case with Manning who was it not for Obama’s desire to pander to LGBT∞ voters, would still be locked up and receiving taxpayer-funded hormone therapy and awaiting a sex change operation courtesy of Uncle Sam.

An account of the Harvard-Manning debacle comes via the damned liberal New York Times in their account “Harvard Disinvites Chelsea Manning, and the Feeling Is Mutual”:

Douglas W. Elmendorf, the dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, told Ms. Manning in a phone call at about 12:30 a.m. on Friday that the school was no longer offering her the fellowship, according to a source familiar with the conversation. The decision was made public shortly afterward.

Harvard had faced harsh criticism for including Ms. Manning, a former Army private convicted of leaking classified information, in the visiting fellows program at the school’s Institute of Politics. Ms. Manning was named to the group on Wednesday, joining Sean Spicer, the former White House press secretary, and Corey Lewandowski, a former campaign manager for President Trump, among others. Fellows travel to Harvard to meet with students and discuss politics and other topics.

Mr. Elmendorf told Ms. Manning, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for providing classified information to WikiLeaks, that she was still invited to speak at Harvard. But he said that the school could no longer give her the title of visiting fellow. The school was concerned that the title implied an endorsement and did not want to come across as endorsing Ms. Manning and her views, he said.

When asked by a member of Ms. Manning’s team why Mr. Spicer and Mr. Lewandowski were being endorsed, Mr. Elmendorf said that they had something to bring to the table, the source said.

The call lasted about 10 minutes; Ms. Manning’s team left the conversation stunned and insulted.

Manning is always going to be a controversial figure. However, one may feel about transparency and providing documents on the inner workings of the Deep State to organizations like WikiLeaks, he/she was a member of the U.S. military at the time and there are rules against such things. The violation of those rules have consequences as Manning quickly discovered.

It’s hard to see how Manning didn’t receive preferential treatment simply because of the elevated status of transgenders in today’s post-Obama wasteland. Anyone else would still be locked up instead of being fawned over by the left like a Hollywood celebrity.
