Jamie Lee Curtis alerted fans on Friday that she would be reprising her roll as Laurie Strode in Halloween ‘one last time.’
“Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later,” Curtis Tweeted. “Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween.”
Jamie first starred as Laurie in the original Halloween in 1978 and went on to play her in 1981, 1983, 1998, and 2002. The newest, yet untitled, film will be released in October 2018.
The newest addition to the series will be directed by David Gordon Green who also wrote the script for the movie in collaboration with Danny McBride. Legendary horror film director John Carpenter will be executive producer and seemed excited about the project.
“I think you’re gonna dig it,” said Carpenter. “They blew me away. I might even do the music. Maybe. It could be kind of cool.”
