Fox News host and contributor Meghan McCain is ending her two-year stint at the cable network.
McCain has hosted “Outnumbered” on the network for 9 months and been a contributor on several others.
“I’m leaving to focus on other things,” she tweeted Friday. “I have no doubt the show will continue to do well.”
Meghan is the latest in a string of hosts to leave the network. Jenna Lee and Megyn Kelly left for personal reasons while Bill O’Reilly and Eric Bolling were pushed out after unproven allegations of sexual misconduct.
“Meghan has been a valuable part of ‘Outnumbered’ and the Fox News team,” the network said in a statement. “We’re sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.”
Ms. McCain is the eldest daughter of Senator John McCain who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.
Meghan has not made public her reason for leaving the network or what her future plans are.
