Trump Meets With Dems, Betrayal or Clever Maneuver?

When I first heard of President Donald Trump meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer I hit my forehead with the palm of my hand and said, “oh! Noo! Donald. Why are you meeting with those two lying, manipulating, low down sleazebags? But, on second thought I don’t blame him. He’s not getting anything done with the Republicans since many of them hate him too. I think they all thought Hilary would get in and their bread and butter would be set sort of speak. That’s all they cared about, but Trump came in and threatened the existing establishment and now you have all this antagonism. I once read that the Republicans really don’t want to be in charge as they would prefer to  sit in the back and criticize. What a bunch of wusses and wimps. No wonder they hate Trump and nothing gets done. Mitch McConnell is the chief wuss and wimp. Are you reading this Mitch?              

For seven years the Republicans have been calling to repeal and replace Obamacare, then when a basic outline of a plan came up under Trump they voted against it. Trump also wants immediate tax reform with a tax cut for the middle class and a corporate tax rate lowered to 15%.  Mitch McConnell is one of the main ones holding things up saying Trump has excessive expectations and wants to put tax reform off until 2018.

No, Mitch, we want it now. It can be done and if done now you and the Republicans will be in power for a long time and Trump can win again in 2020. We elected Trump and the Republicans to get things done like healthcare and lower taxes and you are standing in the way. That’s the difference between a business man which is what Trump is and a politician like McConnell. A business man has expectations and expects things to get done. A politician just talks the talk.

Mitch to quote and paraphrase the late Jim Morrison of the Doors, “We’re getting tired of hanging around.  Hanging around with our heads to the ground. We want health care and tax reform and we want it NOW!!!” Also, Mitch as Bob Dylan once said, “Get out anyone if you can’t lend your hand for the times they are a changing.’ ” Are you listening, Mitch?

The president also said GOP leaders in Congress are “very much on board” the deal he’s working with Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The two Democrats emerged from a working dinner at the White House Wednesday to say they’d all reached a framework, which would speed a bill to grant Dreamers full legal status, coupled with more border security. But they said the president agreed the wall wouldn’t be part of that security.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders disputed that version later Wednesday, but Mr. Trump on Thursday agreed with the Democrats’ reading, saying that the wall will not be part of the deal.

“The wall will come later, we’re right now renovating large sections of wall, massive sections, making it brand new,” he said as he departed the White House en route to Florida, where he was to look at hurricane recovery efforts.

This was an absolute lie and purposeful manipulation by Pelosi and Schumer as Trump said when getting off the airplane in Fla.” that no deal had been made and it was just a discussion.” Trump also reiterated that “the wall will be built or we will have nothing.”  If the wall does not get built it would be suicidal for him and he would lose all his base as this was a big promise during his whole campaign. This is what Pelosi and Schumer would like to see happen as they are against the wall and want to separate Trump from his base which is powerful and consists of 65 million people. That is another reason why Schumer said, “”He likes us! He likes me, anyway,” Schumer says with a chuckle. Don’t fall for it!!!

No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would  be subject to vote.

The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built.

As USUAL, the press and all the talking heads will positively OBSESS (to the point of utter boredom) over this, who said what, when and where. Trump is a master negotiator and wrote the book on it. As TV detective Monk would say  “Here’s what happened.” It’s clear as a bell, Pres. Trump will work with whoever to get DACA legalized through congress and in return the left will work with the president, at his request for his help, on the border wall. The Pres. made the opening bid on a deal. His help and signing the law on DACA in return for  IMMEDIATE cooperation on the wall and closing the border. Now, if I can get that out of what he said, why can’t the talking heads? He is, after all, speaking English!!!

I just hope the Dems don’t screw him over like they did with Bush Sr.when he said “Read my lips.No new taxes”.The Dems said if he raises taxes they will cut spending, but instead, they didn’t cut spending and he was forced to raise taxes.

If the DACA people speak English, are educated or are in school, if they are or have served in the military if they have no criminal record, and if they plan to vote conservative–I have no problem with them. Also, I would like to see legal immigration reduced by the same number as the number of DACA immigrants which is 800,000 now.
