President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attend the lighting of the National Christmas Tree Thursday evening.

The National Park Service and National Park Foundation will hold the annual National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. Popular entertainers and a United States military band add to the celebratory evening.

Attendance by the general public was decided by a random lottery which closed Oct. 16, but the event will be aired live at the stream below.

The event is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST.
