Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is back at the top of the U.S. box office and on pace to eclipse $1 billion in global ticket sales.
“The Rock” stars in Sony’s dinosaur action thriller and the film continues to do well going into its seventh week pulling in $11 million in U.S. sales over the weekend. Jumanji has pulled in $856 million worldwide and $356 million in the United States since Dec. 20.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure came in at #2 on the U.S. box office ticket sales ranking and #1 globally in its first weekend in theaters. The 20th Century Fox action-adventure film took in $10.2 million domestically and $45.4 million across the globe.
