“The level of hatred for the 45th president of the United States is beyond anything we’ve seen in American history,” said Fox News Host Judge Jeanine Pirro Saturday.
Pirro, while discussing the controversy surrounding a recent appearance she made on the view, pointed toward the hypocrisy in the country today. Pirro cited the fact that Donald Trump was once an icon sought after by politicians from both parties, sports figures, and even the media – but then he ran for president. Pirro even went as far as to say the targeting of Trump is vitriol and so palpable it’s frightening and reasoning has become irrelevant.
The level of hatred for the 45th president of the United States is beyond anything we’ve seen in American history. He was once an icon sought after for movies, television, by politicians on both sides of the aisle, sports figures and yes even the media, then he ran for president. Now Donald Trump is the target of vitriol so palpable it’s simply frightening and reasoning has become irrelevant,” said Pirro.
Pirro further addressed the political divide that has taken over the country since the 2016 election. Pirro referenced families and friends removing each other from facebook depending on their politics. It’s almost impossible to have a rational discussion claimed Pirro.
“We can’t have conversations anymore and the ripple is national in scope. Families, friends, acquaintances can’t even talk to each other. They remove each other from Facebook and they change dinner and family gathering plans for the holidays depending on their politics. It’s almost impossible to have a rational discussion that doesn’t turn into a food fight. And for some, it’s now even fashionable to threaten the life of the President of the United States,” said Pirro.
