Watch: President Trump Participates in the Made in America Product Showcase

President Donald Trump participated in the “Made in America Product Showcase” held at the White House Monday that highlighted goods produced by American manufacturers.

President’s tour of the showcase

Before his speech at the event, President Trump viewed the exhibits brought to the White House by American manufacturers.

His first stop was a sleek, bus-sized black and grey RV camper built by Indiana-based Newmar Corporation. He was met by Matthew Miller, President and Kevin Bogan, Vice President of Operations, who stepped inside with him for a few minutes.

Next on display along the driveway was an industrial lifting magnet built by Ohio-based (Youngstown) City Machine Technologies.

Trump chatted with the exhibitor, but the conversation was out of hearing range.

Walking alone, POTUS then inspected a black F-150 pickup truck built by Ford Motor Company in Michigan. “You’re doing well,” he said to one of Ford’s exhibitors.

Then, in front of the South Portico, was a 1/50-scale model of the Space Launch System (SLS) along with the actual Orion space capsule that was tested in flight in 2014.

Next in line was a speedboat build by Ranger Boats in Arkansas. It had a huge (yuge?) Mercury outboard engine, which caught the president’s attention.

“Good looking stuff, huh?” he said. “Anybody want to go fishing?… Buy this boat. It’s great.” he added.

Last in the line of exhibitions, but certainly not the least (expensive), was an F-35 stealth fighter, shown by test pilot Alan Norman.

Many countries are buying them, POTUS was heard to say. I love it.
