President Donald Trump has canceled a Make America Great Again rally he had hoped to hold in Jackson, Mississippi Friday evening in support of incumbent Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith. Weather from Hurricane Florence was cited as the reason for cancelation.
There are no recent polls on the three-way special election that will be held on November 6th. Hyde-Smith, Chris McDaniel (R) and Mike Espy (D) are competing for the seat.
Trump visited Jackson, MS in August 2016 when he held a MAGA rally with special guest Nigel Farage.
The event will begin at 6:30 CT at the Mississippi Coliseum and doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are still available HERE.
CDN will post a live stream of the event on Friday.
