Fox News Beats MSNBC & CNN COMBINED In Primetime & Total Day

FOX News Channel (FNC) was watched by more people on Thursday than both MSNBC and CNN combined, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, FNC beat MSNBC and CNN combined in the prized 25-54 demographic for total day viewership, and had the highest rated demographic during primetime. In primetime, the channel averaged 4 million in total viewers and 779,000 in the 25-54 demo. In total day, FNC delivered 2.3 million in total viewers and 479,000 in the 25-54 younger demographic.

Fox News had the top seven programs in total viewers, leading with Hannity with 4.2 million viewers, followed by The Ingraham Angle (3.9 million), Tucker Carlson Tonight (3.9 million), The Five (3.5 million), Special Report with Bret Baier (3.2 million), The Story with Martha MacCallum (3.1 million) and The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino (2.8 million). MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show was the eighth most-watched program with 2.76 million viewers.

FOX News Channel also had the top seven program in the 25-54 demo, leading with Tucker Carlson Tonight with 788,000, followed by Hannity (783,000), The Ingraham Angle (765,000), The Story with Martha MacCallum (678,000), Special Report with Bret Baier (671,000), The Five (638,000) and FOX News @ Night with Shannon Bream (541,000). MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show was eighth in the 25-54 demo with 532,000.
