President Donald Trump holds a Make America Great Again rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa Tuesday evening in support of Governor Kim Reynolds (R).
Reynolds is 2-points behind her Democrat challenger, Fred Hubbell, in recent polling, but Trump’s endorsement and appearance will likely push her over the top.
During an oval office meeting with U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, Trump teased a “really big announcement” and that he would be “talking ethanol” at the event.
The rally comes just one day after the president Trump offered to relax federal rules that would allow for the sale of more gasoline containing corn-based ethanol, a change that is very popular with Iowans.
The event, being held at the Mid-America Center, is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Central Time.
