New Information Emerges In Jussie Smollett Alleged Attack

The New York Daily News earlier Wednesday evening released an article that had a very very misleading clickbait title, as it claimed that police had the footage of the alleged racist and homophobic assault but then once you read the article you realize that they still don’t have footage of the alleged attack happening.

Police detectives reviewed the security camera footage of the ‘Empire’ Star walking down to his apartment but they have yet to find any footage of the alleged attack happening. They did release two persons of interest they want to question from the attack but the photo is extremely blurry and it doesn’t show them carrying any ropes or bleach which by the way freezes at 18 or 19 degrees Fahrenheit, in a city which is being hammered by a polar vortex and arctic-like weather conditions. Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said that the police do think an attack happened but that there are major gaps in the footage and in none of the footage does it show an attack happening.

The police spokesman said that detectives have reviewed hundreds of hours of footage from businesses and hotels in the area where the alleged incident occurred and that police would look at more footage and would look to examine footage from buses and buildings beyond the main area of interest.

“We haven’t seen anybody, at this point, matching the description he gave. Nobody looks menacing, and we didn’t find a container anywhere,” Guglielmi said, talking about the container of bleach which was allegedly not frozen despite being in arctic weather conditions.

The police continue to investigate the incident and will seek to get to the truth and we will continue to ask important questions that need to be answered and if Raw Story and Alternet want to say that those of us at the Conservative Daily News are evil right-wing extremist fake news peddlers because we ask questions, they are certainly entitled to say so, but we prefer to ask the tough questions as that is what a journalist is supposed to do.
