Retired ICE agent: As a Mexican-American raised at the border, I know we need the wall

Democrats are calling for a ‘technological wall’ consisting of cell phone checks, sensors and drones, but retired ICE special agent Victor Avila says that while the technology is helpful “the border wall is very much needed.”

Avila sat down with Tucker Carlson, host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight, on Fox News Channel Friday night.

“The physical barrier is going to help our agents down there,” Avila told Tucker. “There is a real disconnect between Congress and Washington and what’s really going down at the border.”

Avila also rebutted congressional Democrats’ claim that there is no crisis at the border.

“The crisis is real,” Avila said. “I’ve lived it. I’ve worked it.”
