Democrat Congressman Al Green said that because the Democrat governor, Ralph Northam, and Attorney General, Mark Herring, of Virginia wore blackface, that there should be an impeachment vote on President Trump even if the Mueller investigation’s report clears him.
Green said the fact that Northam and Herring didn’t resign “is but a symptom of a greater syndrome that currently plagues our country as a result of not acting on President Trump’s bigotry.” He said that Governor Northam and Attorney General Herring were emboldened because of President Trump but both of these incidents occurred in the 1980s.
