President Donald Trump will travel to Canal Point, Florida, where he will take helicopter and walking tours of the Herbert Hoover Dike and Lake Okeechobee.
Trump is expected to highlight how his administration worked with Gov. Ron DeSantis, U.S. Sens. Rick Scott and Marco Rubio and other leaders in the state on expediting completion of the long-delayed Herbert Hoover Dike rehabilitation and a project to curb harmful Lake Okeechobee discharges into other rivers.
The president has been staying at his home at Mar-a-Lago since Thursday evening and is expected to remain there through the weekend.
