Billionaire David Koch died at age 79.
Koch retired from his duties at Koch Industries due to health complications in 2018. His death was first reported Friday by New Yorker writer Jane Mayer. Koch and his brother Charles have donated billions of dollars to conservative organizations.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my brother David,” older brother Charles Koch said in a statement, journalist David Gura reported.
