President Donald Trump meet with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg Tuesday.
“NATO serves a great purpose,” Trump responded when reporters asked about French President Emmanuel Macron’s disparaging remarks on NATO. “NATO is becoming much more flexible.”
Stoltenberg also rebuffed Macron’s insult saying, “We have just implemented the largest reinforcement of collective defense since the end of the Cold War.”
“For the first time in our history, we have combat-ready troops in the Eastern part of the Alliance,” he added.
